So, as an update to anyone I have yet to tell:

• I have found a job as a Telephone Market Researcher. I apologise if it's you I call. I did this training this Saturday just past, and start properly this Friday. I applied for it very quickly, and got a call the following day. I doubt this is due to any great outstanding abilities on my part except

Congrats on the job! I used to be a telephone market researcher myself. It's not bad. No fun calling people on Sundays, but it pays well. You just have to not let the odd cranky person get to you.

YOur research options sound really exciting.

Ta. I should be ok. I've done more soul-draining things before.

Aye... it's the kid-in-the-candy-shop problem, though, there are so many good projects to choose from. So far, the first three sound excellent for various reasons, and the fourth isn't bad, but still I feel I can eliminate it without too many qualms.
