Still here. [And she was only gonna send that but then....]

It is my preferred state of being, to be honest.

Are you alright? [He detected some hesitation there.]

Were you ever in a real non-barge-y coma? Those are worse.

[Another pause.] Yep. [LYING IS FUN. CHECK THAT OUT. SHE CAN LIE AGAIN.] But it was a tough flood.

I can imagine more tough in retrospect.

[He'll go to the safer subject.] I've been in cryosleep. But not a coma.

More's the better, it would seem.

[Well, kind of. He wishes he could have fished for secrets like a madman. But it would be difficult to do and hide what he was fishing for.]

There are some things that I fully believe should not be said.

If I wanted to know that much about someone, I would honestly rather seek it out myself than have it thrown at me.

I'm believing so. [In a way. He still wishes he knew more about what people said.] Were you affected?

[She nods quickly. She's figured out how to use the technology, but not what it means (backreading? a thing that happens?!), so her information is all still up.] Problem was some people weren't.

It's a lucrative situation for people that deal in secrets, though secrets freely given are hardly secrets anymore.

[He is still going to dig for all those tasty secrets that he can.]

Truth is cold.

Yes. How are you feeling?

Tired of being tired, to be honest. I don't think I'll ever become accustomed to that.

A good thing, I would think. I'd rather not experience one of these comas myself.

They are fairly useless. Were you affected?

A coma? I'm sorry to hear that.

I don't know whether I should be grateful or not.

It is... tricky, I admit. Have you been in one before?

Once. But I woke up under mind control. Encountered the only person on this ship that cared remotely about my existence. Attempted to kick off his head. Was injected with a fast acting tranquillizer and placed in Zero.

I'm not fond of them.
