Before parkrun this morning, I went for a brisk walk covering just over 4 km/2 ½ miles. As I was starting off at parkrun I was thinking the walk might have been a mistake, as my legs were feeling quite tired before I was even at the halfway point of parkrun. That sounds like it was a lot of fun! I never did a run in a costume, but I did several runs where other people wore costumes (and it wasn't even Halloween!). My favorite runs were always the ones with dogs involved.

I always enjoy parkruns around Halloween and Thanksgiving because of all the people who run in weird costumes.

I love it when adults lose their sense of the ridiculous and get into the spirit of the season. So much fun! As it should be!

Yes, it's always fun to see Halloween costumes and also Thanksgiving costumes at parkrun.
