I know it's election day, but I voted by mail about a month ago so voting was not top of my consciousness this morning. (And I'm too scared to think about this election anyway.) Therefore, when I was out walking after 9:30 am and kept seeing primary school kids out and about, I was wondering if there was some school holiday I wasn't aware of.

My stomach has been clenching since yesterday. The election news is constant here today and I can't avoid it. And everybody here hopes the worst won't happen. It's crazy how this is affecting people here...Kamala is the only outcome wanted. I hope I don't have to vow not to go back to the US for 4 years if the monster felon gets in again.

I have a blind that's about to break but here they have wide pull tapes, not strings. I hope yours get fixed quickly.
