The excitement for today was dropping off a couple of bags of unwanted clothes at Goodwill and then buying some cinnamon raisin bagels at the bagel shop just around the corner in the same shopping plaza. It's a really long time since I've had any of those bagels; I used to eat them regularly as a once a week lunch treat, but I got out of the habit

I've been doing spreadsheets for 7 months. It helps but what I'm finding is that one person does not spend half of what two spend. Utilities don't go down by much in a house whether it's one or two people. That's frustrating.

I hope the extra payment works!

I so agree that it's frustrating that utilities cost almost as much for one person as for two. Food costs less; gas, water, and electricity cost slightly less; everything else is the same.
