Grown up life is hard :(

UCLA needs to hurry up and accept me so I can go back to college and pretend I'm still 18. Preferably with a fellowship so I don't sink even further into my already miserable debt.

Clearly, my attitude towards life is a healthy one.

Got my waitlisted letter from USC today. Maybe it's just my low self-confidence and the massive amount of rejections I've gotten lately, but this makes me feel really proud. They looked at my writing and didn't immediately think "TALENTLESS HACK!". USC is one of the best screenwriting programs in the country. I think they accept, like, 30 people ( Read more... )

So I entered this tv writing competition a few months ago. Monday they announce the winners. I read on an e-mail from them that the grand prize was $10,000. This worried me, as I don't think there's any way I could feasibly win $10,000. That's just too much money for me to really understand. Today I'm happy that Ata invited me to game night! Acquire is a really fun game.

Also, happy that Ata might be able to help me get a job at State Street, where I'd be making about 50% more than I do now.

Also also happy that I may not have to pay my student loan this month, which would give me an extra $200 to spend on whatever I want.
