Maka jumps when she suddenly hears the familiar voice talking as if he's right there next to her. The girl looks around for the source of the voice.

"Shinigami-sama?"

In your pocket!!

Hoho, having an off night, are we~?

[makabaka]

Maka blinks and reaches into her pocket. She pulls out a yellow Dreamberry and peers at it curiously.

There on the screen she does indeed see Shingami's face. A relieved smile appears on her face. "Shinigami-sama!"

[chronalogical]

Chrona is nearly as terrified of this dream as Maka is, and the tone of his voice makes that obvious. Even if he has no idea how to express this.

"M-Maka..."

[makabaka]

Maka finishes drinking a glass of warm milk, hoping it will calm her enough so that she can go back to sleep.

Hearing the timid voice of her friend her eyes widen and she reaches quickly for her cute yellow and pink dreamberry.

"Chrona?"

But then she notices Chrona's terrified expression. Realizing that she must have also seen the dream, Maka gently says, "It's alright Chrona... it was just a dream... Are you ok?"

[chronalogical]

"I'm. I'm okay, I know," he says. He's calming down, but that doesn't do much to change the tone in his voice. There's nothing scarier than a terrified Maka, because if Maka couldn't deal with it, then how could he?

"Y-You're back, though..."

[makabaka]

"Yeah... I don't remember being here though. As far as I'm concerned, just yesterday you and I had been fighting that Giriko guy..."

*pause*

"Have you been here long?"
