Found another interesting poll, this time via tumblr...The male readers were asked which male anime character would they chose as a lover, were they gayEDIT: thanks to Sheli´s remark, I revisited the post again and went to see the link on nicovideo and I actually think this poll is aimed at gay guys, not straight guys who "imagine" to be gay ( Read more... )

Wow, Kagami & Makoto won by quite a large margin too. Tiger made the cut but no Bunny? Also Zoro & no Sanji? Maybe they thought that because Sanji is so girl-crazy, he wouldn't pay attention to them XD

Haha, I think Bunny and Sanji appeal more to the female audience, you know, like the "prince types". These guys were picked by guys, so I figured the tastes would differ.

Haha, so far Zoro made it into two completely different polls with the "hottest anime characters", that´s quite an achievement - guess he appeals both to men and women alike:DD

I'm a bit surprised that the chosen ones are all macho manly dudes, though.. So, that's a straight guy's taste, huh. :)) Well, I can't really complain though, cos it's the same as my taste eheh.. I mean, Zoro? Can you really say no to him? *droools*

I think the straight guy´s taste pretty much matches the gay guy´s taste, as far as I can judge by the types that appear in the "bara" stories;)

Haha, everyone loves Zoro - girls, guys...he´s the ideal man. It´s like "if it´s him, I don´t mind that my boyfriend likes him too" lol XDDDD

whyyyy ;3;), smoker and Ace should be pretty close to Zoro... and wait, did you say among guys thinking they were gay... lol... I think that much is somewhat gay in them... are they turning to our side now? xD

um... those who picked asuma, are they somehow inclided into bara? are all the guys liking the macho man more than the refined pretty boys... well, that makes sense right? um... I wouldn't go with the ossans there cuz they don't appeal to me as the other pretty/handsome charas...

Haha, yeah I know, I miss Ace in the poll too! Well, I think in that kind of poll only gay guys would vote...It´s not very clear if this is "if you were gay" or "you are gay"...now that I´ve seen the post on nicovideo, I start thinking this poll is for gay guys...Should´ve looked at the thing properly before OTL But it would be more fun if it was "pretend you´re gay..." kind of poll...lol

I think Asuma is exactly in the strike zone of the bara lovers;)) I´m not a fan of ossan charas either:/ I think the "RL" gay guys really like more the buff macho types than the girly boys. Dunno, it´s like, all the bara characters are these hairy, testosterone oozing, macho men...
