Though the end of my day yesterday was a bit rough the part before the finding out my mother was in a car crash was good. We figure I probably biked a good 6+ miles yesterday. That was invigorating. I can't bike that far, you should be proud of yourself. I can only make it 6 blocks to the market of choice and 6 blocks back home dragging Jack in his cart. I can't imagine doing 6 miles! Looking it up on google maps I do exactly 1 mile.

I hope your mom is ok.
Way to go making these changes! I have a few drink suggestions for you. Since surgery, Kevin cannot have carbonation, so we have had to look for different drinks as well. We have been drinking Arizona diet blueberry green tea, G2, (which is Gatorade but with less sugar) as well as Crystal light powder mixes, (my favorite flavor is peach tea), also Vitamin water, and I like fruit flavored seltzers. They are usually low calorie, & 0 caffeine.
The other thing that has done a world of good for both of us is drinking protein shakes. We found them at Costco, they are chocolate flavor, and really are pretty tasty. I often drink one for breakfast when I need the protein to start my day, but food just doesn't sound good. I don't know how they are for calorie count, but they are 30 grams of protein per 11oz carton.
I hope this gives you some ideas for drinks.
Keep up the good work!
