I'm not really sure how to feel right now. All in all, I don't have too much to complain about. I've finally figured out my financial situation and I know I can make it through the rest of the semester relatively unscathed. But the more I think about it: do I really want the semester end? I guess I'm not sure where to begin. It's sad that the loss of another's life was the catalyst for helping me come to appreciate my own, but it's true. I never knew her the way some of you did, but it pierced my soul and tugged at my heartstrings to learn of the accident. I've been walking again for about a week now and, let me tell you, it feels great. Take a moment today to be grateful for functional legs and feet because you'd sure miss them if they suddenly didn't work- trust me, I know. Angst is over. At least for the most part. Arthur and I patched things up and now life is rolling as always. I'll be glad when I can walk again- somehow I feel like that will bring my "real life" back to me, even though I'm sure I'll stumble across another hurdle just when I think I'm back in the saddle. I've officially run out of reasons to say life is good, so please don't ask me how I'm doing. I'll either lie to you and say everything's fine or, worse yet... I'll tell you the truth. -
The beginning of the end... finally
I am almost done and you have no idea how good it feels! I managed to survive this week, complete with Book of Mormon exam, psychology final, massive research paper, oral presentation, French test, and just now, my comparative literature final (the scariest of them all!).
