what i thought would be a nice gap year between schools is turning out to be just as stressful.  i still don't really know what i want to do, still don't have a "calling," and i feel just as conflicted as i was last year.  nothing has changed, it seems.  i'm beginning to think that whitney is right, that sometimes you just have to pick something

in other news i think you'd make a great teacher. you're really patient and you seem to enjoy the presence of the younger folk

You must do what you feel is right. For a while, I thought politics would be my calling. I'm still active to an extent but it's nothing I would want a career out of. I found my calling in 2003 and I've never looked back except for 2004 and maybe 2006 but for the most part I am in comedy to stay. I just hope this strike doesn't last that long.
