30 coffins [Video]

Dec 22, 2011 22:20

My, still so many new arrivals.

[It's almost purred, the PCD being sat down on a table, long nails tapping beside it in a slow drumming.]I've a bit of extra dried meat that can go to anyone who needs it- along with more knitting, given the time I've had for a few more scarves and mittens, and a few hats. No need for trade if you've nothing, kist ( Read more... )

entertaining himself, knitting srsly, scarves are srs bizness, welp, he has something still alive, always watching somehow, undertaker loves you all really, oddly cheery creep, secretly a shinigami/reaper, do you really want to ask?, comes out of nowhere

[This person seems slightly ... off, but they have met stranger people in the past that have turned out perfectly alright, and they really do need some new clothes and items to keep them warm - especially given the different season they arrived in...]

I wouldn't mind a pair of mittens, a scarf, and a hat, if it's okay.

Akito. What's yours?

[He notices the chain and pendants, curious and intrigued, but not enough to query for now.]

((ooc: that helps a lot, thank you! and here is a voice reference for Akito, if you'd like, since it's a bit surprising. c:))

Undertaker. A pleasure, A~ki~to.

[That smile never leaves, gesturing towards the front door.] If you'll come inside, I have them sitting out in a coffin I've yet to take to my room.

(OOC Well here is something for Undertaker, even if mostly singing. *~*imagine*~* +1 English accent X3)

Undertaker..?

[This is just a bit creepy. At least he's aware of what 'undertaker' means, so the idea of a coffin being inside isn't exactly surprising.] Are you a funeral director?

And, um... If you could bring some out you think I might like... I would prefer to stay outside, if it's okay.

((ooc: o-omg. salgkjh that voice! so creepy xD))

I own a funeral parlar back home- tending to each guest myself, building their coffins, and carving their gravestones.

[THIS IS WHY HE IS SO BORED HERE.

Laughing, leaning with a light tap of a nail against the boy's forehead before turning to walk up the stairs.]

Per~fect~ly alright. Give me a moment.

(OOC: I love it!)

Ah- All by yourself?

[WE WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT if he knew about the death thing here.

Akito pulls back at the tap, startled. It irritates his injuries, but he ignores it; used to the pain enough at this point that it doesn't particularly phase him.]

Un! Okay.

((ooc: it really seems to suit him, from what I've seen!))

It is best to do a job yourself if you want it done in a particular way.

[HE WILL FIND OUT.

Slipping inside, and not a moment after that coffin is slidding down the front stairs, skidding to a stop just a few feet infront of them, lid still on it.

Undertaker slides the lid off once by it, showin many scarves, mittens, and a few hats all neatly placed inside by colors that match enough.]

There we are!

Or teach someone how to do it like you would, ne?

[Which is what his father did, albeit in the wrong way...

AND YES. HE WILL. soon enough. sadly.

Akito watches curiously, impressed by the variety of knitted goods.]

How long have you been knitting?

It's far easier to run it myself than have someone else working under me.

[Sitting back on the steps for a moment, humming a little idily.]

Since last December, a tiny bit before then with other bits of sewing.

Don't you get lonely though?

[He hesitates for a moment, but doesn't feel like he's in any danger at the moment, and sits himself down gingerly nearby.]

..Since last December? How long have you been here?

My guests keep me company.

[Tapping a heel, causing an odd jingling sound from the buckles attached to the odd belting winding up boots covered by clothing.]

A year and some change, I do believe- there are those who have been here far longer than I.

[He wonders if by 'guests' he means living or deceased, but decides against asking.

The answer to his question shocks him, however expected it had been. Had he not already been sitting he's sure he would have fallen down.]

How much longer..?

Some have been here for three years or so.

[..Three...]

...And no one has found a way home?

Not vo~lun~ta~ri~ly.

[Sitting back against those steps, legs crossing as those buckles up along his boots jingle.]

Sometimes people get sent back home, and sometimes they come right back after a while.

And nobody knows why?

[He's all but forgotten what he came here for, distracted as he is by this information.]

I can't stay here for so long.
