Little known fact: Mr. Sinister attempted to experiment on him in Auschwitz. This drove his to become a member of the sonderkommando for protection.

Headcanon: Sinister actually succeeded but was able to tamper with the boy's memory enough that he doesn't remember this - although it's ALWAYS left his somewhat fearful of telepaths.

Headcanon: While he was able to escape most of the abuse that would have happened to a pretty, fey young boy in the camps, he was groped a few times and harassed - it's left him uncomfortable with being touched by other men.

Little known fact: He gets horribly, horrifically seasick. On a boat he's utterly unable to function, mostly hanging off the side of the boat, waiting to literally vomit his guts up.

Little known fact: After his wife left him and before he dated Lee, he dated only one woman, named Isabelle who was his doctor. He and Isabelle were in love - and Isabelle knew he was a mutant - but they weren't able to consummate their relationship, because Isabelle was murdered before Mags could work out his psychological induced impotence over his wife leaving him.

Little know fact: Magda, Isabelle, and Lee - the three women he's been shown in a relationship with, that he loved, where all baseline human women.

Headcanon: Mags has been fairly celibate, having had sex with four women in his lifetime his wife Magda, the Wasp (just a one night stand), Lee, and Emma Frost. He and Charles HAVE had a couple intimate encounters over the years, and he does love Charles, but they have rarely been in the same place, single, and healthy - physically and psychologically - at the same time. He flirts a fair bit but he doesn't actually DO anything. He doesn't have a religious aversion to sex -it's just a REALLY big deal to him and not something to be causally done.

Little known fact: He's a fairly accomplished dancer, able to Tango at the Championship level - even beating out Gambit.

Little know fact: He's a dedicated researcher and scientist, so much so that his discoveries "would revolutionize particle physics if I cared to claim them" as well as being able to create mutantes - mutants from baseline humans - and mutants from just his lab.

Headcanon: While working as a volunteer orderly, he was attending medical school - he never FINISHED it due to Hydra's attack, but he studied on his own.

Little known fact: He's more than fairly accomplished in the kitchen and enjoys cooking.

Little known fact: a. He's shown some telepathic/psychic abilities over the years - jumping to the Astral Plane, using Cerebro, able to hear/read the thoughts/feelings of others on rare occasion, and having 'good instincts' that war him when bad things are going to happen. It's been questioned if he is a latent telepath.

Headcanon: b. He is but between Sinister and Auschwitz, it's pretty badly damaged.

Headcanon: He says it's because he's Jewish and so never developed a taste for it, but he doesn't care for pork - raw, the texture is too close to dead human flesh, and the smell of it cooking reminds him of the crematoriums.

Headcanon: His birthday is Oct 31st, and he's a Scorpio.

Little known fact: All of his asteroids/satellites/space stuff have been stationed directly above the grave of his first child, since it doesn't have a marker or a stone.

Headcanon, Canon, Canon: He’s the younger of children in his family. He’s also the only son. His parents had both children late in life.

Headcanon: Theft and smuggling are about survival, but the challenge he enjoys.

Headcanon: He was a patient at the hospital before he was an orderly. He became an orderly before he was discharged.

Headcanon, implied in Canon : While working for the CIA, he was first and foremost working for the Mossad. They taught him what he needed to know to become Magneto.

Headcanon: He doesn't really enjoy candy, although he'll buy it for children. He dislikes giving candy to children after "being good" during medical care.

Headcanon: He does however, love fruit.

Canon: X-Ray, CT scans, MRI's - none of those work on him.

Canon: No medical tests have ever been able to pinpoint the cause of his headaches or seizures.

Canon: He’s had the headaches since he was at least nine, but hid them for years, until they progressed to the point he couldn't function any longer during them. The seizures followed, and he treated them the same.

Headcanon: He really enjoy Berliners - mostly jam filled. It's probably the only junk food he routinely eats.

Headcanon: He keeps a footlocker in my room, with food, a bottle of wine, and some water in it, a small bag of clothing, and shoes. It's irrational and embarrasses him, and he knows it. But he can't sleep without it.

Headcanon: Once, when Charles and Mags first lived together, Charles threw out some bread, jam, and cheese Mags had hidden in a closet. Mags nearly choked him, literally. That Charles remained Mags’ friend after it was something Mags has never forgotten.

Headcanon: When he’s really stressed, he sleeps with my boots on.

Headcanon: While he wasn't sexually assaulted in Auschwitz, someone did try.

Headcanon: He wasn't successful because Mags was carrying a knife - something he did until his early forties.

Implied Canon: Charles really DID start that first bar-fight. But the rest were an even mix.
