You know that when it comes to a subject like this, that I might actually know what I'm talking about. Pleasing people and trying to make them happy is a hard thing to do, Goose. Sometimes they may feel smothered by you being "overly nice", or they just think you're acting strange. When you focus too much on someone else's happiness, you lose sight of what is important. And that is spending time with that person. Whether it be family, friend, or something more, occupying yourself with their happiness can make them uncomfortable, which in turn makes you miserable.

Listen to what she replied, just spend time with her, it makes her happy. I should have learned that lesson a long time ago...
