The next morning we woke up bright and early, packed everything up, checked out of the hotel and headed for breakfast which was noodles and fishball soup. The fishballs were so awesome! After crashing for awhile in the afternoon, the both of us woke up feeling rather hungry so we went to this food court for mee sotong as recommended by Horny and Suan. It’s located somewhere nearby Fort Cornwallis and the old KDU campus apparently.

I just came back last night from a mini road trip to Ipoh, Penang and Taiping with the Man Friend and it just involved so much food and so much eating, I feel like I’ve gained 2kg from the past 2 days alone. Today is Japanese buffet lunch at Tenji too which I was supposed to be starving myself for except that kinda went out the window! :(

I’ve been having a bit of a dilemma the last few days. My extensions have way grown out from when they were first put in in January, and now they’re beginning to look scraggly and are a real bitch to maintain. It’s been a long, long, long week but yesterday was the cremation and we can all finally rest now that it’s all over and we know Grandma is resting in peace. I think a lot of people were shocked to see us not as grief-stricken as they expected during the wake, but as my Aunty Janet said, Grandma picked her time to go so perfectly well. For those of you who haven’t been following my Twitter, my grandmother, Datuk Datin Paduka Ruby Lee, passed away very, very peacefully yesterday evening with her family by her side :)

Been MIA for awhile because on Wednesday, we found out that there was nothing much the hospital could do for my grandmother anymore so we brought her home. I’ve been crazy busy lately, haven’t really had the time to sit down and blog and even now I’m just doing a really rushed one. I haven’t made any progress at all with my two essays due on Tuesday (okay, maybe 10%?) and I’m starting to get a little bit panicked about that. I always work better under pressure anyway.
