Hay, you added me first, and I guess I'd like to know why. I notice we share a couple of friends.

otherkin, therianthropy, and wierdshit are all of interest to me.
Wangst and Sexuality and Relationships, I'd aprecieate being added to as well, but I'd understand if you didn't.
(If you've read my journal, you'd probably know I've got a pretty wierd relationship.) *role eyes*

*grin* It's because I had you friended (and you had me friended) over on meirya. I'm in the process of moving my three LJs (texanphoenix, meirya, and kyanti_bird over to this journal, makhsihed. The first thing I did was re-friend all the people friended from my old journals.

Note on the post that it says "If you were friended on texanphoenix, kyanti_bird, and/or meirya and are also friended here, I probably added you to the filters of the LiveJournal you were friended on. (For instance, if you were friended to meirya and were also under the "otherkin" filter, then I already added you to the "therianthropy" filter and the "otherkin" filter on this LJ.)" So that's why I friended you here.

I didn't catch the comment on meirya, I was away at the time, and while I _did_ read the explanation here, I couldn't interpret it at the time (I was about a week short on sleep due tofield trip) *wry grin*

I'm still trying to catch up on everything.

Could you give me a definition of ambisexual?

It's got a few definitions. I use it in the sense of being attracted to people regardless of sex or gender.

I'm still trying to figure out the correct word to use, really. Omnisexual might fit better ("a sexual orientation characterized by a potential aesthetic attraction, romantic love and/or sexual desire for anybody, including people who do not fit into the gender binary of male/female implied by bisexual attraction"). Pansexual is a synonym for omnisexual, but pansexual has a too-sexual connotation for me. When I think pansexual, I think "will fuck anything"; when I think "omnisexual" or "ambisexual", I think "is attracted to / falls in love with [etc] people regardless of plumbing".

I'm pretty much trying to find a word that fits my self-description here.
