Personally, I'm either off or working from home Monday through Thursday this coming week. You couldn't pay me to head into the District for the events. And matters are just getting less and less spectator friendly with today's Secret Service closing announcements.

So my prep? I'm doing a week's worth of shopping this weekend at the market, everyone in the house got script refills today, and we could very comfortably ride out the next ten to fourteen days without needing to leave the house.

And if you live in the District as I did last time? Give yourself 3x to 4x as much time as you expect if you're going more than ten blocks from your home on foot. And just don't bother driving.
