According to this community, this is the only post tagged "FEMA". This indicates several things to me. The first item is that no one that belongs to this community has been on the receiving END of a disaster. Secondly, members of this community obviously, have NO EXPERIENCE that can be considered VALID.
Sorry, JMO.

Your statements are not helpful, in the least. This post reflects issues relavant to making_a_plan and you, obviously, didn't see that fact.

Or, perhaps, since this is a community of people interested in how to plan for disasters, they don't give a damn about FEMA because they're not needed?

Well...FEMA doesn't involve themselves in most things that could be termed "disasters," much less all things that one needs to plan for. This community simply has a broader interest than FEMA does. That explains most of it.

Another reason why we have a lack of previous FEMA tags is that we're unfortunately not a very active community. I'd love to see more regular posts, including ones about dealing with FEMA. Issues pertaining to administrative hassles are important to be aware of and to plan for, especially when they coincide with other disasters. Thanks for sharing this information!

Pardon the thread misplacement, for some reason it refused to post under menarejerks' comment.
