I checked it when I was wiping after I peed. I can really tell if it is egg white type texture.

It just slides a certain way.

and sorry for not responding for ummm 4 months.

Ive been charting my time and all for 1.5 yrs. ive just recently gotten an Ovulite Ovulation thingy, but i find it best to check each time i go to the bathroom. In the book that taught me all the goods about charting and NFP said to dab your finger there and actually touch finger to thumb to see if its sticky, tacky, any color(since your fingers show the color better than white tp) and its convenient since you'd be washing your hands when in the bathroom.
