Yamada stopped running once he felt his feet were already swollen… but then again, physical pain can never withstand the emotional heart break he had just experienced.
“It hurts more here…” he placed his right hand over his left chest and felt… nothing. Even with the long distance he ran, even with his aching soles… none…
Soon, his knees gave out and he just let himself be swallowed by the hard concrete floor. He looked pathetic, everyone who saw him thought that he was a crazy boy kneeling on the ground and hiding his face with his arms, but one guy saw through him…
“Princesses shouldn’t be left here, on this hard and cold floor…” That voice was as gentle as the wind, it was as calm as the sea and as warm as the sun.
“Shut up…” he tried to sound okay, but the cracking of his voice told the latter otherwise.
“Let’s go, its freakin’ cold out here!” Ryutaro tried to pick up the latter but Yamada still refused to stand up.
“No one asked you to stay here, OK!?” He snapped… he just didn’t want anyone beside him at the moment… especially Ryutaro… one of the main people who make him think about Yuto… every second of his life.
“Tsk-tsk! You’ve gotten grumpy, Princess! But no can do! I need to do my job and bring you to your prince!!” Ryutaro saluted in front of Yamada even though he knew that the latter wouldn’t’ be appreciating it anytime soon. But even though Ryutaro was stubborn, Yamada was a whole lot more.
“Just… leave me alone for a while… Okay?” He suddenly heard heavy footsteps around him and after 3 minutes Yamada was almost sure that Ryutaro left him but he was surprised when he felt a hand around his waist… hugging him from behind.
“Please… Don’t keep it all to yourself. C’mon let’s go home.” He knew he shouldn’t fight anymore but…
“It’s my decision if I want to stay here and die or not! If you want to go home just go!!” He stubbornly said, while trying to pry the younger’s hands off his waist.
“Why are you being a brat!?? Do you really want to make others worry? Do you want to make nii-chan worry!?” Ryutaro’s temper was rising already even so, he tried to keep it in and not scare Yamada.
“It’s no use! He doesn’t even care about me!! He will never worry about me!”
“He does ok? Just… believe me… please?” Ryutaro turned Yamada to face him and thumbed away the tears that fell for his gorgeous eyes.
“Why?”
“What?”
“Why should I believe you?? You don’t even know how I feel right now!!” Yamada threw weak punches at him and Ryutaro just took them all… He wouldn’t hurt Yamada anymore… what he had experienced is enough.
“You don’t know how it feels when you see the one you love hugging someone else! Kissing him while saying that he loves him so many times! You don’t know how… how it hurts… when you get pushed away by him… when he says that he loves another person more than… oh wait… he didn’t even love me…” Yamada gave off a bitter laugh while the tears wouldn’t stop flowing. Ryutaro hugged him tighter, he placed Yamada’s head on his chest while he embraced the latter.
“You don’t know… anything… So don’t lecture me about th-”
“You’re wrong!!” Ryutaro cut him off before he could even finish his sentence.
“You’re wrong…” The chubby cheeked boy felt drops of water falling on his scalp, he then weakly pushed Ryutaro away and saw the younger crying.
“Ryuu-”
“You’re wrong, Yama-chan… because I clearly know how it feels…”
Then it struck him… he wasn’t the only one who got hurt here… How could he only think of himself and disregard how Ryutaro feels. He knows who Ryutaro loves, he knows how much Ryutaro sacrificed for that person’s happiness… He of all people should know how hurt Ryutaro is… but he became an egoist and only thought about his pain.
“I-I’m sorry… I didn’t-” The warmth that he felt suddenly left, he turned around to see Ryutaro, head down and bangs covering his dark eyes, standing up.
“Ryuu-” Yamada was about to grab a hold of Ryutaro but the latter beat him to it by bringing his head up and smiling gently at him… It was, as Yamada thought of it, a perfect façade.
“It’s okay!” Even if his voice was full of calmness… his eyes were full of nothing.
“But since you’ve shouted at me a moment ago… You need to do me a favor.” Oh that mischievous smile…

“Where the hell are you taking me, Ryutaro!!??” A blindfold was placed neatly on his eyes, hands where being guided to an unknown place…
‘Can this be called kidnap???’
“Relax Yama-chan!” Even though Yamada could see anything, he could clearly picture the younger’s forming smirk.
“I swear to God if you do anything stu-”
“We’re here.”
At that moment he could hear the flocking of birds and the cloaking of… seagulls? Yamada took a deep breath but stopped mid-way once he familiarized himself with the smell… The sea?
“Ryuu? Are we at the beach??” He asked, trying to find the other guy’s shoulder.
“Better…”
A sudden light flashed towards his now uncovered eyes, he blinked… one, two, before he could clearly witness the scenery before his eyes.
“What are we doing here?” Ryutaro just smiled at him before going to the car’s trunk and took out a box of empty bottles.
“We well throw EVERYTHING away” he said before picking up an bottle and throwing it at the wall just across the harbor.
With one raised eyebrow, Yamada eyed the younger like he was out of his mind… Wait! He IS out of his mind! Who in the world would throw empty bottles at a wall like a vandal and scream like an idiot!??
“What are you doing there!? Come here and grab one of these!” With his bewildered self, Yamada just followed where the latter was and took the bottle Ryutaro was handing to him.
“How the hell do I do this??” He started at the bottle and then at Ryutaro.
“Just throw.”
“Ohh…” It was just a simple throw… the bottle didn’t even break!
“NO! That’s not how you do it!!”
Ryutaro stood behind him, once again handing another bottle which Yamada took hastily… He felt the younger’s hands on his shoulders as if massaging him, then a slight tingle of air came in contact with his ears…
“Just THROW IT…”
“Throw the SADNESS…”
“Throw the HURT…”
“Throw the BAD MEMORIES…”
“Just throw EVERYTHING away…”
