Today is the 150th anniversary of Mississippi's secession from the Union. Note that nowhere in the document do they mention taxes, nor is there a single instance of the Federal government having usurped any of Mississippi's constitutional rights, privileges or immunities. Instead every single reason listed is ab...out slavery or white supremacy. Almost every one of these reasons is explicit, though they do talk around it once or twice
