I've found myself taking five classes this term. I wanted to slack off and only take four, but teachers keep telling me that it'll look bad if I only ever take four classes. Oh well. It's not like I won't skip all the time anyway. Heh

Er, no hard feelings of course. Um.
I didn't expect you to bet against yourself, but you're welcome to bet that you'll still be around at the end of the term :3 Just it'll only be about 1.3x what you bet and you won't get it until.. the end of the term, so I think that it wouldn't be worth your time.
I rather expect to make money. The odds if you actually lose are high enough that people will wager, and I won't have to pay them a single GP because I doubt you'd lose, from what I'm seeing on the network. But uh, you know. If you think you're going to be killed, that's good too o_o Well, bad for me, but...
*cough* Seriously, no hard feelings?

And thank you for your offer, but I don't gamble. It's an uncouth habit I'd rather not have.
I certainly don't think I'm going to be killed. I say with the utmost confidence that there is no one on this campus- and few people left in my world- who could manage it. I'm being underestimated by the vast majority of people here because I choose not to flaunt my power or use it in the messier and more evil ways that it could be used. (Sacrificing one hundred students and turning this city into a den of zombies under my control isn't really my idea of entertainment. People are much more amusing when they're not rotting.) I simply doubt that you will make much money because I seem to have frightened away most of the would-be vampire killers; I haven't seen one in over a day.
See above comment about not wasting my time. This is hardly worth having hard feelings over.

I am sorry then -- didn't mean to offend you by gambling. I just figured since it was all over the network as well as students around campus talking about it that it was public enough. Haven't had any bets though, I can still cancel the offer to take wagers. >.>
Best of luck with the whole ordeal though!

I was doing some research. Drache was supposed to be watching you. Bloody dragon. Let us hope for their sakes that they learned their lesson, and no one else tries it.

I'm unfamiliar with Texas Hold'em, but that's what the internet is for. Besides, I'm suspecting it to be something similar to Scrap Rules from back home.

And you should tell me about Scrap, please :D

I'm in for poker. How many hands can I buy at once?

And you'll sit on six of them tentacles while you play, too. Although I am tempted to run an "Everyone's cheatin' an' the best cheater wins" game, but that's not this game, Squiddy. (Octy?) Not that I'm implyin' ye'd cheat, but the more handstentacles you have, the more likely it'd be, right?
And you're the octopus everyone's been gossipin' about. Interesting . . . do octopuses play any interesting card games where you're from?

fine, fine.. I'll just play one.
This cheating game.. that sounds pretty good though. Last time I played like that, I ended up with a tripple royal flush. Ahhh the good times.
Anyway, the game we always played was called 8 arm. It takes 8 arms to play, but its a lot of fun. Its like of like Pai Gao, but with 8 hands per player, and 32 decks. The payouts are really nice too.

And an obvious cheater wouldn't win. It takes finesse. Hmm, now I'm _very_ tempted to organize this. . .
8 arm, eh? I don't suppose someone with two could work out a way to play as well?
