Matt and I had a similar conversation the other day. He made some good points for evolution. You guys should have a big debate one day.

I think there's quite a lot of evidence for evolution actually but who's to say God didn't create evolution?

uh, evolution IS a fact; the term theory in science means something entirely different than in everyday speech; a theory is a testable, provable model you can use to explain past events and make future predictions. see theory of relativity. too far out for you? how about the THEORY of gravitation? yeah, it's "just a theory" too.

the only debate in science about evolution is precisely how it happened.

as for intelligent design, well, it's okay to teach it; just not in science classes. it's not based in any way on the scientific method, and in fact requires you to disregard it entirely. it's not science, it's faith, and has no place at all in a science class.
