“And we’re not going to let you two out until you work things out!” Albus said triumphantly from the other side of the door before they heard him and the rest of the Weasley/Potter clan stalk off.
“I suppose he doesn’t know that we got back together last week.” Rose said.
“No, I guess not.” Scorpius replied, as he surveyed the situation.
The situation being that he and Rose were currently trapped in a broom closet without their wands.
“Well I certainly think you would have to give them an ‘O’ for effort.” Rose said as she looked around the small room.
“An ‘O’?! I would give them a ‘T’!” Scorpius said indignantly.
“I know it lacks a certain subtlety and finesse, but I think the sheer force of all of this would work on most people. I mean I think I see almost every type of romantic cliché or inducement possible here. Mistletoe. Firewhiskey. Drinks and food no doubt laced with loved potions. Candlelight. Romantic music. A blanket. Roses. It’s a veritable lovenest.”
“Yes, and this just serves to prove the point I’ve been trying to make to you all these years. Gryffindors are idiots!” Scorpius exclaimed.
“Hey! My family are-”
“They’ve left us in this lovenest without our wands,” Scorpius continued, interrupting Rose, “And clearly their intent is for us to shag and make up, and yet they didn’t think to leave us any CONDOMS.”
“Oh.” Rose said as she looked around the room and ascertained that this was indeed the case.
“Luckily though,” Scorpius said, as a pulled a small package out of his pocket, “Slytherins always come prepared.”
