Hah, hah... :) Did I mention that I've had to service the things?
What else can I be expected to do with the semester finally over--after last night's bombed advanced grammar exam--and me with excess words still stuffed up in my head?
That's a crying shame. After the some foot-and-a-half that's fallen here, I can't see how one can be reasonably expected to get anywhere, never mind safely.
Based on how they drive at the beginning of winter, for some reason an extraordinary number of people who live here seem to "data dump" everything they know about driving in snow and ice at the first sign of spring.
There may, perhaps, be something to that, because that is precisely the behavior that I observed that lead to my writing: drivers seeming to forget that the game changes slightly when the snow comes. Drivers spun out (one into a jersey barrier). Drivers doing 55 while the rest of us are creeping along at 30. A few drivers who followed less than a car's length from my tail. Although, I shouldn't be surprised to hear how it's little different up there; idiocy is ubiquitous.

And I'll have to. Long as hotels are open, they shall need pastry.

Either cause it would be insane to try and get there, it would be insane for the driver to even consider getting into DC, or both.
No worries, as I get to watch a big football game tonight.

Enjoy the snow.

With exception to a medical or family emergency, it's better to just stay in until there really becomes a need.
