I wanted to save my last blog so I could comment on the book. I actually really enjoyed it, and I found it a lot easier to follow than some of the other works we have been reading. I can't believe it is almost all over, i've been through two semesters of blogging every week, I think i'm going to miss it!

I agree with you… Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit was a much easier read then some of the other works we’ve read this semester. I think you really hit the nail on the head when you mentioned that the main themes in both stories (Oranges and Jane Eyre) really highlighted one another. It was interesting to see that both the main characters are strong women who are willing to stand up for what they believe in, which in a way isn’t all that common. (That’s where the feminist stand point comes into play!!) You can really tell in your entry that you enjoyed the novel!
