Obviously its a lot easier for them to say "we're sorry my granddad hung your granddad" than "we're sorry we continue to be racist"...cause they don't really have to own any of the behavior...

I don't know anything about Live Journal etiquette except to leave a note and say that I followed your advice this weekend (actually not just about this) and signed up for my own LJ. Then I "friended" you even though I don't know what that means exactly. I am not gonna be posting in mine (because there are young ones running amok on this site and since I work with them I must be very very careful) but wanted to stay in touch through this...
So who is Miz Who? I think you will figure it out from my profile... plus this past weekend is a clue (smile for the camera) and that comment about young ones.
