Happy birthday! Yay for 30!

Let me know when you plan to be in the Cities, I will round up the gals and we can do a costume thing.

Thanks! Will do. Are you still planning on going to the Tall Ships?

Yes I am! I just bought weekend passes for me and the fam. I should probably book a hotel like yesterday.

Cool! Yeah, we need to figure out the hotel thing too. I think my boyfriend had found one somewhere not too far away.

Thanks. The day itself wasn't too great other than heading home. But being 30 seems pretty good!

Happy birthday! I'd say one function of the corset cover is to protect modesty if the bodice is sheer.

I love the corset-cover. I think it definitely is protective. What pattern did you use?

Thanks! I used a pattern that I drafted up from Frances Grimble's Fashions of the Gilded Age, but modified to have a straight front.

That's a book I've never heard of. I'm going to look for it now!
