Thanks to theladyrebecca and bauhausfrau I've been thinking about Disney princesses and cosplay. I think cosplay is a lot of fun, but I always get stumped on things to cosplay because I don't want to be a poser and dress up in something that I don't have a firm grasp of fandom-wise. Glass slippers are key! I'm not sure if I'd go with this plate in particular, still brainstorming, but definitely needs the puffed sleeves and weird panniers.

I love it! Were you thinking of doing it in the typical Cinderella blue with white/light blue, or keep it like the fashion plate?

I really don't know. I'm still in early brainstorming phase. This plate is 1893, but what I really want to make is something more turn-of-the-century. As for color, maybe a pale silvery aqua, more like the original movie version before the redesign. I don't really like the way most blues look with my skin tone. I guess it depends on what I'd be able to find.
