Had a living history event bright and early today and managed to finish my outfit last night at 11:30 pm. Ugh. The event went well though. We had a couple schools come to a local museum where we gave educational demonstrations about Manitoba's Selkirk Settler history. Thanks Elizabeth! Hand sewing was actually pretty convenient, because it meant I didn't have to pull out the sewing machine and I could sew wherever in the house. Maybe more hand sewing in the future?

Thanks! It's hand-sewn because I really needed to get started on it if I wanted it done in time, but my mom was using the sewing machine for making school musical costumes. ;p Otherwise all the seams you can't see would have been machined and it would have saved me a TON of time.

Yeah I sewed something by hand once... it took a long time... Just a pair of trousers actually, so not even a lot of work. I loves my sewing machine!

Thanks Aubry! I sewed something on the machine yesterday and I was like OMG this is so much faster! lol
