School has been keeping me busy. But good news! My dog's test results came back for the lump in her jaw and it's not cancer! :) They think that it's just a growth as a result from some sort of trauma, probably the roots of her bad teeth. She is back to her old self now and is acting kind of like she was when she was a young dog again. We're joking ( Read more... )

Oh, good! I'm so glad she's okay.

My mother thought her dog was starting to really go downhill, but it turned out that his hair was just blocking his eyes, and once it was trimmed and he could see again, he was also his old self.

Thanks! That's a great story. It's interesting how those physical things can affect them. I figured it was old age that was slowing down our dog (and, to some degree, it is), but it must also have been those bad teeth, because she is so perky now.

Yippee for happy dog!! <3 Our old guy is so skinny and frail looking, but he acts like a puppy so people still ask how old he is! Second puppyhood, indeed.

Yippee!!! Aw your dog sounds like a sweetie. Our dog has recently become a bit crankier and doesn't listen as well, which were traits of her younger self. lol
