Can you guys what happened in the last few days?

Yep, you got it right, it snowed! Not just a few flakes but enough that it was 5 inches deep and it's taken 3 days to melt! What a wacky beginning to the winter. I hope this heralds a lot of snow, not all the slush we've been getting the last few years. I'd like to have a Christmas like I remember

Ah, snow... that mystical fluffy material that allegedly falls from the sky... Yes, I am very much hoping that I will get some real winter weather and a nice white Christmas while I'm home. I only got a single day of snow last year... and Durham is the same latitude as Hudson's Bay!!! I definitely missed it last year.
