Recent events trouble me. Yet anyone not troubled already has not been paying attention. Letting personal connections affect my appraisal of the situation would be a mistake.
I know better than to believe him, yet I trust his judgment. The usual paradox. I might take the freedom of choice as a sign of confidence if it weren't as likely a sign I have become predictable. Whatever he intends, I have reason to investigate reasonable precautions.
Orson might be right. I need a vacation. Maybe next year.
