That's a pretty epic dream. Honestly, could you pitch this to SyFy, I would much rather watch this, even with horrid CGI, than their usual fare. Although I usually end up watching their usual fare anyway...
My only thought is that it's kind of like I am Legend/Omega Man, where they are just the next phase of life, taking over humanity and replacing it.
At first they seemed mindless, but, as my dream progressed, they started figuring out our defenses and exploiting flaws. Eventually they were able to launch an attack on our makeshift stronghold, taking out our lights and striking where our defenses were weakest.
I guess my brain doesn't find dumb zombies challenging enough?
My bigger questions have to do with the hows and whys of the parallel universes. I mean, I never watched Sliders...
Well, there could be much worse inspiration than I am Legend/Omega Man. I admit, zombies are one of my favorites of late though. And yeah, I only caught a few episodes of Sliders after a strong start. It seemed like one of those that once you lost it, it was hard to get caught back up without watching it in order, and this was totally pre-"The internet is my back catalog" days. :) Eh, I prefer Dr. Who parallel universe rules anyway. ;)
