Arg, I hate hopeless crushes. You know those where you know in your head that trying to take it anywhere just won't work but you can't help that feeling being there.

I've got about three of those on the go right now.

What I like about hopeless crushes is that, since I know they're entirely hopeless, I'm free to idealise the crushed person all I want, and feel all giddy when they're around, without worrying that somehow it's going to ruin what could eventually happen between me and them. I can just kind of enjoy the greatness of feeling giddy without any other thoughts.
