You're fantastic at being a canadian!

Ok, seriously... maybe if you dedicated yourself to those things you jump into, you'd find that you really are good at them.

Oh, and come back on IRC sometime, we miss you. You were good at idling on IRC too!

I'm trying to think of a job where you need to be well rounded and good at most things. That I can't right now is due to the early morningness. There totally have got to be them. That kind of a job would be perfect for you.

Ooh! you could be a writer. You need to be able to competently write on a bunch of different things to be any good, but you don't have to kick ass at anything (unless you decide to do technical writing or something, I'm thinking more general journalism/books/scathing movie reviews). Not much money in it maybe, but it could be your part-time job and your true passion in life. I think you'd kick ass. Look at me telling someone what their passion should be! Sheesh.

I can understand the frustration at not having a "thing", and being in the midst of that search. At the same time, don't give yourself short shrift - being able to step into nearly anything and be competent at it off the hop is a huge asset - sell yourself on this!

Trust me, as someone who has had to hire assistants, just being able to have someone who is able and capable, and who I can depend on to step into just about anything that gets thrown at them... this is like gold!
