Date/Time: Day 4, sometime in the afternoon, before Group Therapy
He’d had it planned out for a few days, really. Watched the patterns of people in and out of the Nap Room, checked if and when the door got locked, and monitored the surveillance of the hall around the room.
Reno’d had it planned, thoroughly, if only for the sole reason that he really, seriously, completely needed a drink. It had been almost a year and a goddamn half. He didn’t want the bottle of scotch deeply buried beneath the cushions in the nap room, no, no; he fucking needed it.
And so, after the fifth day of planning, he cautiously stalked down the length of the hallway, shot glances about the doorway and into the room, and slipped himself inside, immediately diving for the pile of over-stuffed pillows his last few bottles of scotch had been hidden in.
Popping open one of them, he took a gratifying swig, sinking into the pillows himself, eyes closed in satisfaction.
Ah, alcohol.
