Day/time: Day 11, uhuh... dinner
There would be no sandwich throwing this time.
Daisuke thought of it every time he walked into the cafeteria, anyway. There was no need to get a bad reputation with the other patients! Check the room for a blot of green - if it was safe, Daisuke would heave a sigh and get his food as normal. Routine.
Selecting a plate that looked the freshest, he bit his cheek in disappointment when they all came with sauce already on them (Daisuke preferred plain spagetti).
Abruptly, it felt like the last straw. Another bad day had passed and he was lonley in this place place; as he sat down with his food, Daisuke lowered his chin to the table, rubbing a hand to his eye when he felt tears begin to well.
Can't cry here, too many people will see... He shook his head and rose again, swallowing the lump in his throat and attempting to take a bite of the pasta.
