After throwing on pajama pants and a loose top and brushing his teeth thoroughly, Daisuke rested propped up on his headboard, a textbook sitting next to him. Honestly he wanted to read the fantasy book that he had checked out of the library, but studying for his tutoring came first - as tiresome as it was.
Ugh, it's hopeless. Flopping his body down so that he lay more flat against the bed, the small boy pushed the heavy textbook down the bed then kicked it off, satisfied at the heavy clunk it made on the wood floor.
Out of his own laziness Daisuke stared at the ceiling for a long moment, planning on grabbing his (much favored) novel to entertain himself in a few minutes. He wasn't tired at all, wide awake as a matter of fact, but the good thing about Malaise was there was always time to laze around.
His head fell to the side of its own accord, and Daisuke stared at the luggage at the foot of the previously unoccupied bed next to him. The last member of his roommates, it seemed! Since he had yet to actually see this person, the redhead was a bit excited for when he (it would be a he, right? He couldn't remember if they seperated genders or not . . .) would enter 113 to go to bed.
Satoshi and Dark were both absent at the moment, and he had come to know that his boyfriend was always late to bed - usually he was dragged in by the nurses, and Daisuke chuckled quietly at the thought - but he had no idea why Satoshi wasn't around.
In the meantime, he huffed and finally rolled over and reached down into his dufflebag for his book, facing away from the door.
