just now, more than rarely, and after over a year living in my own home, i still reach to the left to turn on the kitchen light, inevitably knocking down the painting i hung there.
i think its the fates telling me, over and over again, to not trust my instincts.

i had to deny a woman entrance to the rehab i work in today because she believed there to be 'snakes' in her 'vagina'.
oh, and also, badgers and weasels scratching at her skin when she was unawares.
