I can't take credit for that one. :) Original poster would be one Benjamin Franklin, Esq.

And he said it referring to beer, not chicken fried bacon. c_c

What?

...Well, at least it's not a fat overload. Still...not sure I can see it. Jelly beans already have a sort of coating on them already, right? And I've never actually had Pop Rocks...:P

When I was in Olkahoma I tried some fried pickles at J.R.'s Barbecue. I...didn't really like them, but I didn't hate them either. I could see how some people could like them. Maybe if they had used slightly different pickles that I liked better.

ardweden told me how Chicago has a famous cheesecake place and New York City has a place that will deep-fry (I think) anything you bring in. So when she visited NYC she took along a cheesecake and had it deep-fried...the deep-frying people were quite enthusiastic, and apparently it turned out really well. ;)

...

You've never had Pop Rocks? I don't know if we can be friends any more. :D

I've only had fried pickles a handful of times, and I've found them to be okay. Not something I'd want to eat every day, but good enough.

And yes. Deep-frying improves everything. Everything.
