So yesterday was the first part of my CAE test, the listening, and I have really bad feelings about the results... I know already that I've made a few mistakes and haven't heard a few things too. And the last exercise was, at least partly, guessing since no answer seemed right or all of them did :/ (but here other people were saying the same so ( Read more... )

CAE is short for Certificate in Advanced English, the kind of exam, you know, like those DELFs etc. Well, seemingly my english isn't that advanced, 'cause I feel that I kind of messed it up. Well, the results will be known in September so we will see then... But I appreciate your faith in my brains, I hope you are right and I'll show my 'smartness' tomorrow on the written part (6 hours, heh ). Actually I think I should do just that because it's my birthday tomorrow too and I usually do good when taking an exam on that day :)

And my birthday, well, it was busy. I had the major part of this exam (the last one is on friday) and than I was finishing one chapter of my MA Thesis, finished almost at midnight :(
But tomorrow I have a birthday party and I count on having fun for this whole tough week :)
