I think your biggest problem is this steve person, you need to cut contact with him, hes obviously not helping you at all. basically your following an old saying "friends close but enemies closer" in this case it wont work. its gonna tear you up inside. you are really gonna regret it. you need to tell him how you feel and than drop it, if you see him just keep walking. if he tries to start shit let me know. you are a role model for alot of people. you are a role model because you accept who you are and people draw strength from that. i think your looking for true love. and i hope you find it.
