Given the pattern I have observed, I have to conclude that expatriate Caribbean cultures feel compelled to attack me because they feel themselves to be inferior to the English, in the way that many post-Colonial citizens whose nations have been abandoned by The British Empire do: in short, they feel threatened by me, so their defence mechanism is to attack me, in order that they can feel better about themselves.
