I was also in NY in 1997 but didn't visit WTC then. Though it seems jetlag was worse that time around.

I was just reading in andy Warhol's diary a couple days ago, about he and some other famous folk went up to Windows on the World, which was on the 107th floor, and they dined. He loved the sunset.

I have never seen them in person, but I have a pretty vivid imagination... so I *almost* could have visited before... hmmm

pretty weird to think that a place we've stepped into or upon, has been destroyed along with thousands of lives, dead and alive... okie, me go, me getting sad .... sniff... think i'll go watch sesame street or sumthin nice...

love

I used to watch Sesame Street 1975-79 when I lived in US. And we had a cassette of Sesame Street songs from that time we wore through with playing. Kind of miss those songs. :-)
*hugs*
