They are called cat macros, from what I gather. There is a community for the people who put captions as if they are speaking. I don't get what the hype is about, but people are crazy over them.

Is that what it is? There are strict rules in some of them that's why. I thought when they said "macros", they meant the close ups. But the captions can be funny...SOMETIMES, but some are so annoying.

one of the desks I use at work has a day calendar with photos of cats and those captions. they don't make sense to me... today's said [underneath a picture of a cat with clown glasses on facing a large book] "Do you ever do that thing where you realize you're reading the same sentence over and over? Do you?"
.... is that supposed to be funny? cute? ???

an ex coworker gave me that type of calendar. Some are funny, some...like yours, just didn't make sense. I wonder if it's the same calendar. I'll have to go to work and see.
