My friends list seems to have a pretty lefty slant. Being lefty-ish myself, this is only appropriate. But, in the spirit of being fair and balanced, I am going to link to the blog of Reform wait no I mean Conservative MP Monte Solberg. His Liberal bashing warms the cockles of my cold, cold heart. Oh man, if I'd known there were Conservative MPs pretending to care about the Toronto waterfront and airport train before the election, I surely would have voted for them! Oh wait. Pretending *after* the election isn't nearly as convincing.

The best part of it is that his assumption is that Toronto voting Liberals is purely about Toronto trying to get more money for itself. Surely we're not also concerned about national issues. I guess then since I'm a selfish Torontonian, I'll *have* to vote in an totally inexperienced Toronto Conservative candidate in order to beg for money in the next big Conservative majority government.

Rhetoric is funny.
