I wrote a Greasemonkey script that will attempt to link references in comments to images in posts. So if someone has posted ten images, a comment like "I like the second to last picture" will contain a link back up to the ninth image. Like this:

This comment exemplifies the script, if it's installed:

Never mind the first image. The first two images are the smallest. The last five images are more interesting. The second to last is a bit disturbing. The fourth is lovely. Number two (or: number 2) is of a pug. #3, the third (3d, 3rd) image is of David. The last image, the last one, is of Johanna.

This should not be transformed: first set, second set, third set. This should: first one, second photo.

Should not be: #7, seventh photo, seventh from last.
