While living on the corner of Chestnut and Saginaw, I was outside on the porch one evening. A cop had pulled some guy over, and I watched as smoke started slowly pouring from the guy's car while the cop was running his info. After a few minutes, flames started licking around the edge of his hood, and the guy was franticly waving at the cop, afraid ( Read more... )

Infected is a fucking kick-ass song. I think it's up there with 'Sorrow' for my favorite Bad Religion song. I haven't decided if I like the new album yet, or not (I don't hate it, there just isn't anything that stands out).

Re: The woman comment. I don't think this is a woman only thing. As time passes, it's easier to forget the small things that may have been wrong with a relationship, and easier a lot of the times to dwell on the good, which may make someone nostalgic. It all depends on the person, of course, some people are more prone to holding grudges than others.

Complete agreement with 'Sorrow', and I think I do like the new album. But the best was still Stranger than Fiction.

As for the woman comment, I do realize the reasons overall. Generalizations are fun :)
It is very true, its easy to forget the bad things in time. I also think it may be in part learning to see past faults, as well as finding the value of good people as we age.

Overall its just a poke at how it sometimes seems that girls I've been interested in, and especially ex's, seem to be far more interested in me after the fact.

Excluding those that I've been shitty to, or too distant from ;)

u should be a writer. u set the scene quite nicely... actually, if u want, u can help me write my story. alicia keeps telling me i should write about all the drama cuz it'd be an amusing story. she's probably right...

Ha, thanks, I've heard that before actually. I'm guessing I'll end up doing some writing, along with some drawing, on the road.

I'd be happy to help. Start by understanding that "u" is no replacement for "you". :P
