Have a piece of distressingly porn-free, utter self-indulgence. For tabbyola, who made me the happiest girl in the world by loving Merlin, and with many thanks to adellyna for the beta, hand-holding, and being generally outstanding. ♥ (Title and cut tag from Spring Quiet by Christina Rossetti.)

This was just, just precious. The way you laid out all the hints, Arthur being more moody than usual and everyone being really nice to him, and Merlin still NOT GETTING IT, that was all just perfect. The ending felt a little rushed; even if he didn't mean it, the pretense of pity even jokingly I can't see Arthur forgiving so quickly.

Since there will probably be no blackberry pastries for breakfast, he'll just have to have Merlin instead.

I agree with "the cake" on this one. absolutely amazing. i must admit, i was just as confused as Merlin so i guess that makes me a bad manservant too. hehe

btw Ms. Cake, that last comment makes you out to be the wanton asexual pill-slut that you truly are. i miss you... *le sigh*

I licked an aspirin, okay, but that was ONCE, and I was tired. I miss you too. I'm making my sisters watch Avatar to make up for it. We're on 1x07 and we started Monday.

Sorry for spamming your thread, btw, maleyka. It really was a lovely fanfic. Do you mind if I put your story on my fic list for holidays?

Oh, this was just wonderful! ♥
The characters just felt so right, and it drew me right in. I loved Merlin's obliviousness, and the slow build up.

That was so heartwarming to read. I love your Merlin and I absolutely adore your Arthur, seriously, that has to one of the best characterisations of him I've read.
